How much does a website cost in Quebec? From $21 a month if you build it yourself to more than $8,000 with a traditional agency. Here are the prices Quebec providers post in September 2026, and what they cover.

Website prices in Quebec, by type of site

You build it yourself. Wix plans run $21 to $165 a month, with the domain free the first year. The text, the photos and every change are on you.

You pay a small studio once. Webryk, in Sherbrooke, lists a site from $500. Hosting is extra, from $18 a month.

You pay monthly. Lokia-Web charges $79 a month. Génie en Web starts at $89. Ready14 and Shortkut start at $99. Hosting and some changes are included.

You hire a traditional agency. Lokia-Web compares its plan to $8,500 at a traditional agency. Ready14 puts an agency at $12,200 over three years. Those are their estimates.

What drives the price up?

The starting price is a small brochure site. Every addition is paid in work.

What pushes the number up

  1. The number of pages. Five pages and twenty-five pages are not the same job.
  2. The writing. If nothing is ready, someone writes up your services with you.
  3. A second language. A real French or English version doubles the content.
  4. Connections. Online booking, online payment, a link to your management software.
  5. An online store. Inventory, taxes and shipping: a separate project.
  6. A page per town. Being found in Joliette, Rawdon and Berthierville takes a page for each.

Before you compare two prices, compare the lists: how many pages, who writes the text, one language or two.

Pay once or pay monthly?

One-time price. You pay up front. Hosting and the domain come back every year. A change to your site is yours to make, or a billed hour.

Subscription. Little or nothing up front. The monthly amount covers hosting, security and changes. In return you commit: 12 months at Génie en Web and Shortkut, 36 months at Ready14, 30 days’ notice at Lokia-Web.

To compare, run the numbers over three years, the longest commitment we found.

These are starting prices. The real price depends on what you add. Run your own numbers in our three-year website cost calculator.

Which costs come back every year?

  • The domain name. Webryk lists it at $30 a year.
  • Extra changes. Génie en Web bills $75 an hour past the included minutes.
  • Unused minutes. At Génie en Web, they don’t roll over.

Ask for these three numbers before you sign.

How much does a website cost at Studio Telos?

Buy the site from $1,200, then upkeep from $49 a month.

Pay monthly, from $99 a month for 36 months, nothing up front. If you stop early, you pay what’s left of the site’s price and you keep it.

The starting price includes five pages, fifteen town pages, the domain in your name, hosting, an email address on your domain and your Google Business Profile set up.

Every month: about an hour of changes, one post, one new town or service page and review requests to your customers. When you call, David or Tim picks up.

A second language, a store or extra pages raise both prices. Tick what you need on the pricing page and the total adds up in front of you.

What should you ask before you sign?

The answers should fit in one sentence.

Ask before you sign

  • Whose name is the domain in?
  • If I stop, do I keep my site?
  • How many months am I committing to, and what does leaving early cost?
  • How many changes a month are included?
  • How many pages, and how many town pages?
  • What costs extra?
  • Who answers when I call?
  • Are prices before or after tax?

If an answer comes back vague, ask for it in writing.
